DEREK QUINDRY

Meeting and advising new people has given me joy my entire life. I grew up in the Appalachian Mountains in Virginia and Tennessee; then I went on to do my undergraduate degree at Emory University in Atlanta. After Emory, I spent a year teaching English in Germany on a Fulbright scholarship before returning to Emory to get my JD. I summered at a BigLaw firm doing commercial litigation and decided that a less traditional path might be an exciting adventure.

I love helping people find their passions, so legal recruitment is the perfect opportunity for me to assist attorneys in pivoting to new practice areas, increasing salaries, or simply finding work environments where they are appreciated and have the space to grow. This benefits attorneys and their employers because everyone performs better in an environment best suited to their goals and personalities. Outside of recruiting, I enjoy playing on the beach with my dog, gaming, and trying new restaurants.
